#3 – Play An Instrument
If you have an instrument at hand, you can try playing guitar, a piano, or a flute.
However, most of you probably don’t, and that doesn’t have to stop you! There are many online instrument simulators you can try out to have lots of fun even if you don’t have access to a real instrument.
Whichever option you choose, go to YouTube, look for some tips for beginners and get going!
#4 – Try Some Life Hacks
Want a simple but original idea?
Do a quick Google search for life hacks you can try and see which of them work. You will be surprised how many cool ideas are out there!
#5 – Redecorate Your Room
It is always a good time to bring change to the boring room décor. Turn to Pinterest for some excellent decorating themes and try implementing one in your room.
Suppose you don’t have the needed tools or the will to redecorate fully. In that case, you could try moving your furniture around and freshen up your living space with small changes.
#6 – Play With Your Photo Editing Skills
Download some editors or look for some online photo editing tools, find a few photos, and experiment with your editing skills.
You can also look for photos from the old and forgotten folders on your computer and take a stroll down memory lane while you are at it!

#7 – Watch a Documentary
Depending upon your area of interest, you can begin watching some of the most interesting documentary shows on Netflix that are both informative and entertaining.
You don’t necessarily have to look at documentaries as boring. Good ones can be quite fun to watch, and you learn a lot in the process.
#8 – Get in Touch With Nature
Enjoy some fresh air by sitting under the sky as you sip your favorite drink and think about everything that makes you feel alive.

#14 – Create a Bucket List
We have to admit that bucket lists are one of our favorite things in the world! There are a few things that can be as motivating as creating a bucket list.
Plus, all the research you need to do while you think of items to add to the list can consume hours, which is great if you are looking to pass the time. Just think of all the things you want to do, see what other people are doing and create a list.
#15 – Write a Story or a Poem
Most people haven’t written anything creative since they were in school. We like to think that it is a wasted opportunity to stimulate your brain.
Take a pen and paper and began exploring your fantasy. You can create a story out of anything in your mind. You can also write a poem about the way you are feeling.
Nothing is off the table here. It’s your creative freedom, after all!
#16 – Paint Your Room
Okay, this suggestion is for the brave people who truly have nothing to do this weekend and don’t mind getting dirty.
Read a few articles about interior design, get some buckets of your favorite colors, and paint your room without looking back. The painting is going to be really therapeutic and super fun for you!
#17 – Read Something
Not everything has to be as crazy as the previous suggestion.
If you are a fan of reading, grab your favorite book or read some blogs of your favorite blogger on the internet. Entertain your mind with write-ups of some phenomenal writers.
You can get cozy, make yourself a warm drink, and enjoy the atmosphere.
#18 – Learn a New Skill
Is there anything you have always wished to do but don’t know how?
Maybe you want to learn how to juggle or play darts. Perhaps you have always wanted to learn how to draw a cute dog.
Whatever it is – the time is right to learn and get good at it!

#19 – Solve a Puzzle
Here is another great activity that will get your brain working.
You could spend some time solving a puzzle to kill your time. It can be a crossword puzzle or a jigsaw puzzle. To make it even more interesting and challenging, you can set a timer and try to complete it within the given time.
#20 – Plant a Plant
It may sound funny when you say it out loud, but planting a plant is unexpectedly one of the most fun things to do!
There is something special about taking care of a beautiful flower or a small house plant.
You can give it a name! We are sure you two will become friends in no time.
#21 – Cook Something New
What goes well with boredom?
You guessed it – eating.
Spending some time in the kitchen is the best way to pass the time and fill your belly with some (hopefully) delicious food. Search for a new recipe, collect the ingredients and bring out the cook in you!
#22 – Revive Your Memories
It can be old videos, pictures, or some gifts you got a while back. Dig them up, have a look at them, and cherish the memories.
Fair warning, though – this is one of those fun things that can make you a bit sad and nostalgic if you let your memories go down a risky path. However, most likely, you will get some great laughs too.
#23 – Bake Something
Wasn’t cooking already on this list?
We hear you. However, baking is an entirely different story.
Treating yourself (and maybe your friends and family) with some sweet items like biscuits or cupcakes can be a great way to get on everybody’s good side this weekend.
The process itself is also a lot of fun, not to mention that you get to eat a lot afterward!

Folding paper may not sound very fun when you think about it, but it actually is. Just ask Michael Scofield (hello to all Prison Break fans).
Try making some of the famous origami shapes yourself. There are plenty of tutorials that can teach you origami art. All you have to do is grab a piece of paper and look them up!
#26 – Try An Online Museum Tour

#29 – Set a New Goal
Just like creating your bucket list, goal setting can be an incredibly fun activity that can also have great benefits long term!
You might think that setting a goal won’t take much time, and you wouldn’t be wrong. So, what are you going to do with the rest of the day?
You will set a SMART goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-Bound), and plan out exactly how you will achieve it. The next step – start working on it right away!
#30 – Polish Your Moves
It is never necessary to have a reason to dance, so take the weekend as an opportunity to party by yourself.
